Penso A Lei is already a two-time winner and is set to provide plenty of thrills for NSW Tycoons owners.

Trained by the master of a tried horse in Joe Pride, Penso A Lei which means “I think of her” in Italian had an initial preparation for the Tycoons which was hampered by a minor injury.

She was a good thing beaten at Warwick Farm back in December before being unplaced in her next two starts when a minor hoof injury was discovered.

Penso A Lei has now overcome the setback and Joe has no doubt she’ll pick up a couple of wins throughout the Spring.

Purchased for $155,000 both her wins have come over 2000m but Joe is confident Penso can be competitive at a mile and beyond.
