Simon Miller has been entrenched in racing since a very young age, with his family being involved in many facets of the industry. He spent his weekends as a youngster mucking out stalls in Geelong, before he started working as a stable hand for Robbie Griffiths. He quickly climbed the ranks and spent 8 years as an assistant trainer to Robbie Griffiths, John O’Shea and Robert Smerdon.
In 2008 he moved to Perth and started as one of the smallest on the block, having just 4 horses in work. Since then, the stable has become one of the largest and most successful racing entities in Perth, having won numerous Group and Listed races. Watch his trainer pitch below:
