It was a historic day on Friday for The Racing League and the NSW Tycoons as The Sherpa, trained by Brett Cavanough, became the first winner for TRL and the Tycoons. He put in a gutsy effort to win Race 2 at Scone over 900m, especially as he is a horse that will get over further distance. You can watch the race replay below:
