IT DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER FOR TRL OWNERS…WELL YES IT DOES

Feb 24, 2023

Just when you thought it couldn’t get better for TRL owners after winning 3 from 3 the previous Saturday, Cool Jakey makes a winning debut for the NSW Tycoons on Wednesday to make it 4 wins from 4 for TRL owners.

That’s now 26 winners from 16 runners at a strike rate of 25%.

TRL UPCOMING RUNNERS :

Team Captain: February 25 – Lord Reims Hcp Morphettville

The Big Goodbye: March 4 – Eagle Farm

Lethal Thoughts: March 11 – Wangaratta

Bellinger: March 11 – Morphettville

Good luck to all owners now let’s check out the major chances for your TRL Trainers this Saturday.

MAHER & EUSTACE CAN WIN THE DIAMOND

With the construction at Caulfield, this year’s Blue Diamond Stakes for 2yos will be staged at Sandown on Saturday.

Steel City is yet to win a race but can break it’s maiden in spectacular fashion by winning the Diamond at $4.40.

At Randwick, if you are patient, have something on Sonora for $4.80 who’s up in grade but has no weight.

BET: Steel City – Each Way (Sandown Race 7))

BET: Steinem – Each Way (Sandown Race 6)

BET: Sonora – Each Way (Randwick Race 10)

MOODY MAGIC

The Moody stable looks set to continue its strong run with Shuffle Dancer and Chain Of Lightning strong chances at Caulfield. Happy to play.

BET: Shuffle Dancer – Each Way (Sandown Race 2)

BET: Chain of Lightning – Each Way (Sandown Race 9)

GAI & ADRIAN GO FOR BLOOD

Sticking with the tenacious Alligator Blood to be winning the Futurity Stakes for Gai and Adrian.

He may not be the best horse in the race but he’s the best 1400m in the Futurity.

At Randwick, the stable can win with Ganbare at double-digit odds in Race 3.

BET: Alligator Blood – Each Way (Sandown Race 8)

BET: Ganbare – Each Way (Randwick Race 3)

REMEMBER JOE PRIDE

Joe Pride doesn’t have a horse for the Tycoons at the moment, but I’m tipping Think About It at Randwick. He’s a really progressive horse, who’s won his last 3 and can step up again.

BET: Think About It – Win (Randwick Race 9)

RICHARD AND WILL WITH ANOTHER INTERSTATE RAID

They have mastered the art of the interstate raid and Eye Pea Oh will be extremely hard to beat when the Freedman’s take him to Doomben on Saturday for Race 3.

This horse did some galloping with Luna Rocks and goes extremely well.

BET: Eye Pea Oh – Each Way (Doomben Race 3)

BIGGER THAN NORMAL DAY FOR GOLLAN

Tony Gollan unleashes his Magic Millions winner Skirt The Law in the Sweet Embrace at Randwick on Saturday.

She has since come out and looked sensational in a Doomben barrier trial and if successful will be hard to stop in the Golden Slipper.

BET: Skirt The Law  –  Win (Randwick Race 6)

BET: Tenzing – Each Way (Doomben Race 8)

EDMONDS TEAM SET TO REPEAT

Toby and Trent Edmonds did the right thing by us last week with The Vowels winning at $10.

We are sticking with the stable on Saturday, with Corfe Castle in race 4. The booking of top hoop Jimmy Orman is crucial.

BET: Corfe Castle – Each Way (Doomben Race 3)

O’DEA & HOYSTED TO STRIKE AT DOOMBEN

I understand the O’Dea/Hoysted yard has some good chances in the majors down south but I’m sticking with a couple of their runners at Doomben.

Hold On Honey (Race 7) is a $5 chance who put together 3 straight wins before a third placing last start and can return to the winner’s stall.

Rathlin is a dual acceptor Race 5 or Race 9 and will be hard to beat whichever assignment the stable chooses.

BET: Hold On Honey – Each Way (Doomben Race 7)

BET: Rathlin – Each Way (Doomben Race 5 or Race 9)

Good luck and good punting!
