Luna Rocks won her latest trial at Warwick Farm last Friday in what trainer Richard Freedman calls, “her best trial yet.”
The NSW-based trainer is extremely pleased with her run and says, “She relaxed nicely and cruised along.”
It was even more impressive that she won the fastest last 600m of the day at that point.
The stable is aiming for her to race in the Denise’s Joy Stakes at Scone on the 13th of May, where there is up to $160,000 in prize money up for grabs.
Freedman said it would be preferable if she gets a run before that date to keep her fitness up. She is currently set to race on Friday in Race 7 at Muswellbrook where there is $35,000 in prize money up for grabs.
