A good week could get better for The Racing League trainer Mark Newnham.
The NSW Tycoons trainer could not be in better form over the Summer period and that continued during the week with Mark preparing Skymax to win the Australia Day Cup.
Adding to Newnham’s Summer Carnival haul of the Villiers Stakes with Greysful Glamour while he also won the Summer Cup-January Cup.
When it comes to “what trainers get what horses” for the NSW Tycoons, Mark is versatile and is adept at training older horses over a distance or two-year-olds.
Newnham has a handy juvenile stepping out in the Group 3 Widden Stakes on Saturday called Zentime.
It’s always hard to line-up form but this regally bred More Than Ready filly is at big odds but one to watch.
