Gai is arguably the biggest name in racing; her honour roll is amazing; there’s the Golden Slippers, the Melbourne Cup, the Cox Plates and everything in between. She learnt the trade from the greatest of all time, her father Tommy, who won 33 consecutive Sydney premierships, and now she’s passing on that knowledge to Adrian Bott.
It is Gai’s enthusiasm that continues to amaze Bott, who can already boast a Slipper of his own amongst many other impressive victories. Their partnership just seems to work, as they continue to train winners together. It’s been a bit of a slow burn for Adrian and Gai with Blue Thorpedo but both have faith she will deliver for NSW Tycoons owners. Watch their trainer pitch below
