Helluva Barty is certainly a youngster with a stack of ability, who’s already had a stable change north of the border.

Purchased for $231,000 at the 2021 Magic Millions sale, Helluva Barty was originally sent to Michael Costa on the Gold Coast, but with Michael taking up a position in Dubai he now finds himself in the Steve O’Dea/Matt Hoysted yard at Eagle Farm.

Steve is delighted to have this son of Hellbent in the stable and he’s shown above average ability before going a touch shin sore last preparation.

Hellbent, a son of I Am Invincible, had four starts in Group 1s  and never finished worse than fourth, including victory in the 2018 G1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) in near record time
