Toby Edmonds relocated from Warwick Farm to the Gold Coast, not for the sun or the surf, but for an opportunity, setting up his own stable in 2011 and he has never looked back. There’s been Magic Million’s success with Houtzen, and now the entire family are entrenched at the state-of-the-art stable with an official training partnership between Toby and his son Trent.
The stable consistently has winning strikeouts, which are industry leading and in season 2018, Toby trained 106.5 winners at a strike rate of 21.7%, which placed the stable in the top 3 Nationally in terms of winning strike rate. This cemented him as not only one of Queensland’s but one of Australia’s leading thoroughbred trainers.
