Champion trainer Tony Gollan was more than a promising rugby league player. He represented Queensland in the Under 19s and had aspirations of being a Brisbane Bronco. However it was his undying love of the horse that saw him take up horse training full time. Born and bred in Toowoomba Tony followed in his fathers footsteps and took out his trainers license at the age of 20. Success came quickly and Tony is the undisputed King of the Queensland ranks with 9 premiership titles to his credit. In season 2019/20 Tony became the first trainer to have over 100 city winners for the first time. Tony has Greylander in his stable for the Qld Rogues a horse he and his staff have always liked and now super excited about what he can deliver for their leading stable.
